Before each session, we consider your personality and tastes to choose the perfect location for you. Erin is constantly scoping out new spots, even within our favorites! That way each session will be customized to you.

Downtown Louisville
With our studio located in the heart of downtown, we know every nook and cranny of the downtown area. The downtown area provides a great urban backdrop with plenty of gorgeous textured walls and interesting architectural features. Bonus: you can change outfits in the comfort of our studio!

2. Mountain Views

Situated at the top of winding road, NCAR offers stunning mountain views without the crowds of Chautauqua park. You can incorporate golden fields, breathtaking overlooks and forest trails all in one session. For the best lighting, we recommend an early morning or late evening session at this location.

3. Water locations

Boulder Creek is a refreshing place to end your session on a hot summer day. This location feels unique and offers a great contrast to photos taken in the mountains. Expect that you won’t have the creek to yourself, but the photos will be worth it!

4. Vista View

This view has it all! Mountains, valleys, swaying grass and colorful sunsets. It’s quintessential Colorado, minutes from our studio. We consider this spot an absolute win for every type of session, but with high school senior this spot really evokes feelings of expansiveness and wide open possibilities. Since we choose several different locations for each session, we recommend ending with this one.

5. Wooded Locations

This park is one of our top picks for photos from spring to fall. Lush greens and flowers can be expected earlier in the year. Once the weather turns cooler you’ve got all of the fallen leaves and warm colors to make your session pure magic. Another reason to love this space is that it’s just a hop and skip away from our studio.
